Document Camera
Must-have for distance learning and for creating asynchronous lessons.
Most document cameras allow you to turn the camera head. Use this feature to capture fingering when playing instruments, and close-ups of control panels and jacks. Teaching theory? Put a sheet of paper under the camera & record your writing and narration, just like on the board in class. If you use touch pads with a program like Ableton Live, the document camera will enable you to demo for students like a pro. Hovercam Solo 8 and Ipevo v4k are great choices. Less expensive models are coming to market, so read the reviews! |
Other stuff you're going to need...
Handheld or field recorders. Camcorders. Headphones. Headphone amplifiers. Cables & adapters. Too many options to name. When buying headphones, focus on comfort, sound quality, and durability. Read TONS of reviews before making a purchase. Looking for the 'quick' answer? Start with the Focusrite Vocaster series. |
